Fiat boss Sergio Marchionne confirmed the name during an Autocar interview at the Geneva motor show.
News of a roadster codevelopement between Mazda and Fiat Chrysler has long been known, but speculation had suggested the model would be badged as an Alfa Romeo Spider or even as a standalone model in the Abarth range.
The announcement fits in with earlier comments from Marchionne who stipulated that all future Alfa cars should be "built in Italy with Italian-produced powertrains". Fiat-badging for the Japanese-built roadster fits in with these wishes.

:lol: Arata prea misto ! E exact ce trebuie, o masina usoara, relativ ieftina, cu motoare moderne, la un pret permisiv si un sasiu de invidiat. Daca mai si arata asa, Fiat a dat o mare lovitura cu masina asta.

Vor face ceva in genul 500... in sensul ca au adoptat un design retro ca omagiu adus originalului, dar nici intr-un caz nu va face parte din sub-familia 500.

Am urmarit foarte multe review-uri ale noului MX5 si suna la naibii de bine! Iar preturile incep de la 21k TVA inclus!
Un "MX5" cu 1.4TB MultiAir, parca deja as vrea sa dau avansul :lol:

Tocmai ce a fost surprinsa fara camuflaj, aici articolul de pe jalopnik.
Speram sa vina cu un interior total modificat, dar hei, probabil cumparatorii vizati pentru tipul asta de masina vor spune: "Are un interior? Daca are si interior o cumpar!"

Sincer, n-am o problema cu faptul ca au pastrat interiorul, personal, mi se pare misto.
Cutia pare a fi TCT, which sounds good to me :)
Exteriorul e dragut, aminteste de original, dar trebuie sa recunosc ca fratele asiatic arata parca o idee mai bine...
Dar, 2017?! :(

Imi place ca are emblema spate pe portbagaj in pozitie orizontala, la fel ca si modelul original, si nu verticala cum ne-am obisnuit in ultimii ani.

E o paine de mancat pe segmentul asta. Daca nu se arunca la bani e de bine, masina n-are cum sa nu fie ce trebuie, atat sasiul cat si motorizarile sunt de top.

Fiind fiat, ar trebuii sa coste maxim ~20k euro.

PS. sper sa faca ceva cu suspensia aia, sau cel putin sa exista optiunea de 'sport pack' cu roti mari si -15mm. In rest arata genial :)

Imi place masina mai mult ca specificatii decat ca design, e genul de masina pe care mi-as cumpara-o. Arata foarte americaneste, ca un mic Thunderbird si asta nu stiu cat de mult va fi apreciat de europeni, dar nu ei au fost vizati. Cu roti mai late, o suspensie coborata si tipsuri cu diametru mai mare, gen S2k, va arata si mai bine. Nu se va conduce mai bine, dar va arata mai bine.

Nu o sa coste maxim 20k de Euro, dar daca va pleca de undeva sub suma asta cred ca va fi bine.
