    When you reconnect the battery and start the car for the first time do NOT rev then engine for 5 minutes. This allows all the postioning motors to go back to default. Once the 5 minutes is up you may stop and restart the car then drive normally.

    All the "reset" does is put the positioners such as the IACV back to factory setting. The car will then relearn the positions required for the conditions you put your car under. However if you drive your car hard from the off after doing this, it will expect to be driven like that al the time and therefore may feel a little sluggish unless really pushed. Also, whilst this relearning is taking place you may experience higher running costs.

    You will not have to reprogramme any keys afterwards and your radio should not loose its code either. You will have to alter the time unless its a H2 where if you put it to an FM station it will pick up the time automarically.

Un pasaj de acolo suna ca in povestile romanesti "cum iti conduci masina, asa merge frate!", adica ceva de genul "daca ai mers incetisor cu ea, nu se va mai infige! asa ca da-i talpa sa o "inveti" !" Yeah, right! :roll:
Imi scot eu bateria timp de 1 ora, dupa care merg 30 minute ca mosii prin oras, si pe urma fac asa un 0-100 de test. Ce ziceti? O sa scot 12 secunde?? :lol: :lol:

La fosta Mondeo diesel mergea treaba asta asa ca ar trebui sa mearga si la alfa romeo jtd.

Hai mai baieti, lasati povestile :). La Turbo poate doar dauna daca ai mers mult timp cu ea batraneste si se depune porcaria aia la turbina, atata tot...nu vad alta posibilitate. Cred ca e mai mult o chestie psihologica ;). In plus, cu atat mai fortata, cu atata mai mari riscurile sa crape masina, nu sa mearga mai bine :D

Tupac, ia citeste tu ce parametri sunt self-learning la un ECU Bosch, modelul folosit pe masina ta, s-ar putea sa ai o surpriza.

Tupac, ideea este ca orice ECU are un set de harti de amestec modificate dinamic in functie de regimul in care merge acea masina. Daca ECU memoreaza un anumit tip de amestec la o plaja de turatii va ramane cu ala pana la reset. Cu alte cuvinte, daca mergi vreme indelungata prin traficul din Bucuresti cu turatii de pana in 4000 RPM este foarte posibil ca atunci cand iesi din oras si i dai cox sa nu se mai comporte la fel de bine motorul ca atunci cand mergi in ture constant. Nu e o aberatie ce zic baietii pe aici, chiar are logica si asa este.

adica vreti sa spuneti ca daca merg cu masina, in oras, la turatii de 2500 - 3000 rpm, cand plec la plimbare pe A2, este puturoasa ? :roll:

Toata lumea are dreptate! :D Sunt fix 2 harti de injectie care se comuteaza in functie de regimul de mers al masinii. Daca masina e forjata avem nevoie, desigur, de o harta agresiva. Daca masina e batrana si trista... e batrana si trista.

Ati vazut dupa un drum lung cand intrati in oras... o bestie masina... Aia e in mod clar harta agresiva. Eu le-am vazut pe amandoua, iar cea de "Full Throttle" are val marite cu aprox 30%.

Cand spun full throttle ma refer la regimul de mers, nu la pozitia pedalei.

Abia m-am intors de la mare si pot sa va spun ca de cand am intrat pe A2, am calcat-o normal, m-am trezit pe la 180km/h, deci merge de rupe. :D
Nu cred o iota din vrajeala cu ECU. Poate la late masini functioneaza, la mine are personalitate. :wink:
Cu ocazia deplasarii la maricica, am observat ca noua cutie de viteze ma 'fura" la vitezometru, pana in 100 km/h cu 10-15 km/h; peste 100 cu cel putin 20 km/h, cam naspa ca era sa fur 2 radare. :roll:

La al meu JTS aveam probleme cu relantiul cand era cuplat aerul conditionat, dar dupa resetul de ECU problema a disparut si parca masina trage mai bine, are o explozie de putere de pe la 2900 3000 de ture. Am facut resetul din fiatECUscan (selfadpaterparameters reset) urmand apoi timpii de 90s cu cheia in MRA, 90s cheia Off, 15min motor pornit fara apasat nici o pedala, 10min motor oprit. Diferenta de relanti s-a simtit inca din cele 15min de motor pornit. Pentru a verifica resetarea ECU-ului am verificat din fiatECUscan parametrii SelfAdapt Bank 1 si 2 (add si sub parca), imediat dupa reset trebie sa fie 1 respectiv 0, iar dupa o scurta plimbare cu masina valorile ar trebui sa fie diferite de 1 respectiv 0.
