Poate colegii cu diesel-uri te pot ajuta mai mult, insa din ceea ce stiu, 1.9 e un motor fiabil comparativ cu alte diesel-uri ale concurentei din anii respectivi, si care poate fi remapat usor, cu rezultate vizibile, daca asta e ceea ce te intereseaza.
Intradevar, bratele sunt fragile pentru drumurile noastre, insa totul depinde de banii pe care esti dispus sa-i dai. Schimbul la 6 luni se poate datora unor repere extrem de slabe calitativ, km multi parcursi, sau rute cu drumuri extrem de proaste - sau o combinatie intre aceste cauze.

2003 facelift (second series)[edit]

The GTA models never received the exterior update. Diesel engines underwent a major re-working, new four valve per cylinder heads were added, second stage common rail injection with 1400 bar maximum injection pressure with up to five injections per cycle for lower noise, consumption and higher performance. They were rated at 140/150 PS (103/110 kW) for straight-4 1.9 litre 16-valve and 175 PS (129 kW) for straight-5 2.4 litre 20-valve.
