De pe tot mai multe fronturi ( toate starnite de un interviu al CEO Wester acordat revistei engleze Evo) se aud voci conform carora Maserati ar putea/ar vrea sa construiasca un nou coupe cu motor V8 central, in 1500-2000 exemplare anual, cu o greutate de aproximativ 1200 kg, lungime de 440 cm, pret maxim de 150.000 euro.
Sa fie un spin-off pe platforma Alfei 4C ?

:disgust: alfa 4C cu sigla de maserati!? Iubesc acel trident, masina visurilor mele este maserati, dar masinuta asta nu imi place. In opinia mea, designul nu prea se pupa cu maserati.

Poza de mai sus este un chop, o idee...Masina cu siguranta va arata diferit, in primul rand datorita motorului care va fi mult mai mare.

Cum toate mesajele tale de pana acum au fost de calitate, te iertam. :)
Proiectul exita deocamdata doar in imaginatia lui Wester, nu exista nici un comunicat oficial, nici nu este prevazut in vreun plan industrial. Desenul de mai sus este realizat plecand de la 4C, si ca de obicei, este doar o idee de stil despre cum ar putea arata viitorul model.
Desi in interviu aminteste de mai multe ori de Alfa 4C, mi-e greu de crezut ca vor recurge doar la badge engineering pentru modelul Maserati. Acesta din urma va fi mai mare, va avea motor V8, pretentii supersportive, alt pret...

Nici nu a aparut Alfa 4C si, deja, e o clasica, pe baza careia se fac alte masini...wtf? :?

Cum tocmai am aflat ca Alfa 4C a devenit realitate, iar Marchionne este obsedat de rentabilizarea platformelor, este foarte probabil ca in curand proiectul sa fie aprobat.

O noua confirmare, din partea managerului pentru Europa, Giulio Pastore : link.
Lansarea este prevazuta pentru 2016, dar se intrevede posibilitatea ca platforma sa fie noua, si nu cea folosita pentru 4C. De asemenea, tot el neaga posibilitatea ca LaFerrari sa aibe un o sora Maserati. :(
