Descoperiti de curand, The Vaccines. Suna binisor, putin cam 'raw', dar au potential. Cele mai tari piese de pe album sunt
Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra) (probabil familiara fanilor FIFA2012 de la EA Sports:-) si Post Break-Up Sex.
Si desigur, the one and only, Noel Gallagher cu primul album solo, 'High Flying Birds'. Criticii spun ca cei doi frati Gallagher nu mai au nevoie sa fie impreuna ca sa scoata albume mediocre, dar zic eu ca e o exagerare, nu stiu de Beady Eye (Liam), dar LP-ul lui Noel e bunicel. Foarte odihnitor la volan oricum.
Preferata mea e If I Had A Gun...

Da da, The Vaccines sunt faini. Au niste influente misto in spate, i-am vazut live la Werchter anul asta. Sa vedem urmatoarele albume...
Cat despre Noel, albumul asta e in purul stil Oasis de la sfarsitul anilor '90, dar a cules mai ales partile bune. Beady Eye mi-au parut prea pretentious pentru ce mai pot sa faca fara fratele cel mare. Si p-astia i-am vazut live, nimic impresionant.
p.s. primul single al lui Noel de pe albumul asta a fost un fel de "baieti, stiti cantecul ala misto care parea ca nu e chiar Oasis, asa misto era? Eu l-am scris" :) Ma refer desigur la The Importance Of Being Idle si The Death Of You And Me, in videoclip chiar e o chestie misto, calul face la un moment dat exact pasii din The Importance.. smart move.

Inca ceva, Liam declara acum vreun an ca vrea ca Beady Eye sa fie o trupa mai mare decat Oasis. Apoi face o pauza si zice "Ba nu, vreau sa fie mai mare decat The Beatles". La care cineva ii spune: "It's gonna be a long shot mate, they were bigger than Jesus..:) "

Te referi la Everybody's On The Run? Am vazut leak-ul de la un concert la Rio parca, din 2008. Din cate stiu chiar si Noel a declarat ca primul album e mai mult experimental cu ce n-a fost released din perioada Oasis, adevaratul album va veni anul viitor. Am fost putin ezitant cu privire la primul LP ptr. ca mi se pare ca lipseste acel spark care sa faca dintr-un album bun unul foarte bun. Putin cam prea liniar. In termeni fotbalistici (ca Noel e omniprezent pe talksport), seamana cu City-ul anului trecut: top4 si doar atat. Asteptam City-ul de anul asta de la Noel. Cat despre Liam, asa hulit cum e, cred ca e exact veriga lipsa. Un idiot fara doar si poate, dar important in angrenaj. Un fel de Balotelli :) Daca te mai duci la Werchter anul asta cred ca bifez si eu, sigur, wife permitting :roll:

Luni pe drumul spre Muenchen nu l-am mai ascultat pe Noel, fiind inca sub influenta meciului de duminica :censored:
Am ascultat insa ceva rar, primul meu CD cumparat din magazin odata ce am ajuns in tarile cu 'apa calda', Deep Dish - Global Underground 021 Moscow. Platit cu franci belgieni, era cu putin inainte de intrarea in vigoare a Euro :)
Un mare hit la vremea respectiva, dar bun si acum dupa 10 ani de ascultat la volan: George Morel - Driving To Heaven.
