Mda, unde mai pui ca inainte chiar si de lansarea oficiala prevazuta pentru Frankfurt, in Romania au fost deja vandute 10 exemplare Spider din cota de 12 bucati aferenta anului viitor... LINK

Conceptia lui 458 a inceput de la acoperisul retractabil in jos, modelul avand prevazut acest sistem de decapotare inca din primele faze de proiectare.

The 458 Italia coupe debuted in September 2009 at the Frankfurt auto show and went on sale in February 2010. The 458 Spider debuted two years later, at last month's Frankfurt show.Together with Webasto, which also sources the roof system on the California four-seat convertible, Ferrari developed a patented, fully retractable hardtop, which is a world first for rear-engine sports cars.
The all-aluminum hardtop solution adopted for the 458 Spider offers a number of advantages over the traditional folding canvas top, including a 25kg (55 lbs) weight reduction and a deployment time of just 14 seconds.Ferrari says the small space needed to house the roof enabled the designers to include a generous rear bench for luggage behind the seats. The space is big enough for full-sized set of golf clubs.
The 458 Spider's powertrain is the same as that in the 458 Italia coupe -- a normally aspirated 4.5-liter V-8 delivering 570 hp coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission from German transmission specialist Getrag.

GTE Pro Category
The Ferrari 458 Italy also took the title in the category GTE Pro (for GTs derived from standard models, driven by professional drivers). The team and driver Championships were won respectively by AF Corse, which won over the British JMW Motorsport with a 458 Italia with Championship drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Gianmaria Bruni, who bested the English duo Rob Bell and James Walker driving for JMW.

Italian GTE Championship
The Italia also won the Italian championship in the category for GTE cars, ahead of the Porsche 911 RSR and the Aston Martin Vantage. Again headed by Giancarlo Fisichella and Gianmaria Bruni, the 458 managed by AF Corse won the Intercontinental Cup in the Le Mans GTE Pro category.

In 2011, the 458 Italia achieved major successes in several championships, carrying on the legacy of the F430. The Italia is already one of the most successful cars in the history of GT Racing.

GT3
Also important was the success of Leo-Castellacci (AF Corse) in the FIA GT3 category where Ferrari debuted this year for the first time with its own car, and GT3 Championship victory in ASIA with the pilot Weng Sun of Singapore driving for the Clearwater Racing team.

Grand Am for 2012
The 458 will debut in the Grand Am category at Daytona, Florida, from 26 and 29 January 2012.

Derived from the GT3 and produced in collaboration with Michelotto, the 458 Grand Am will be assigned to crews consisting of the Daytona 500 champion Michael Waltrip, the North American Rally Champion Travis Pastrana and two veterans of endurance races, Rui Aguas and Robert Kauffman. This will kickoff the first of the thirteen events scheduled in the intense 2012 Grand Am season.

Exemplarul (evident, modificat) pe care Valentino Rossi il va utiliza week-end-ul viitor la Monza in cadrul Blancpain Endurance Series, campionat in care participa automobile Gran Turismo derivate din modelele de serie.

imi plac ferrari dar am observat cum sant cumparate pentru a arata un anume statut social.
dupa parerea mea ferrari are foarte putini pasionati ca si cumparatori.
it s just big shit.
staruri tv si ganeii de la toflea care le aduc la bairam pe platforme sau arabi asisderea...bine ca se vand .

Statutul social a mers "la brat" tot timpul cu marca Ferrari, numai ca de-a lungul timpului cei din conducere si-au dat seama ca orice ban conteaza intr-o piata destul de variata de supercar-uri si coroborat cu criza economica, singura metoda este sa vinzi oricui e dispus sa plateasca, indiferent de pozitia sociala ocupata in societate.
