De ceva timp, in zona unde locuiesc parcheaza o Giulietta alba B-31-JVN. Mi se pare ca o conduce o doamna/domnisoara. Stie cineva, ceva?

Alfa Romeo’s new mid-spec diesel engine for the Giulietta is a crucial addition that the firm needs to get right. But first impressions have us a little concerned.

The 2.0 JTDm-2 gets 140bhp and a healthy 258lb ft of torque. Compare that with the Ford Focus 2.0 TDCi Titanium X’s 161bhp and 251lb ft of torque and it’s off to a fairly decent start. But start the new unit up and you’re in no doubt that it’s the black pump you’ll be visiting. The resulting diesel clatter is intrusive.

What's it like?
As with all Giuliettas, you’re given a choice of three driving modes – Eco, Normal and Dynamic – as well as stop-start. In Dynamic, the throttle response sharpens adequately to put it more on a par with the diesel Focus.

Drive like you did when you were 18 and the subtle whoosh from the oil-burner’s dump valve promises much but delivers little. At 2000rpm the engine hits a flat spot, which frustrates when you’re trying to push on.

Front-end grip, however, is superb and the six-speed manual gearbox has a lovely throw to it, enabling quick and precise shifts – something you need with this particular engine.

Where this Giulietta is most 
at home is on the motorway. The chassis is composed and planted at higher speeds and the diesel engine merely ticks over at 70mph, hitting just under 2000rpm.

But – and this is a very big but – 
in mixed driving in Dynamic mode 
we managed only 31mpg – less than half the suggested 62.8mpg.

Should I buy one?
Given a long motorway run and a conservative right foot, however, we’re sure that mid-40s economy would be achieveable. So with its pretty interior, great handling and precise gearbox, this is a worthy enough alternative to the class-leading Focus.

sper sa nu imi fie inteles gresit postul, urat mod de a scrie, urata descriere. Oricat m-as stradui, nu pot citi asa ceva. Nu e ce trebuie, ceva nu se leaga. E un feeling ciudat, e ca si cum as citi informatii financiare in Libertatea.

Giulietta QV merita mai mult de atat, pacat ca a ajuns pe mainile acelui "jurnalist" o astfel de masina, chiar si pentru cateva ore. :(

in AMS test comparativ intre principalii jucatori (vreo 12 masini) in clasa compacta la categoria 120cp (motoare turbo si motoare aspirate, functie de producator). cu toate acestea din punctul meu de vedere lipsesc 2 mari concurenti pentru giulietta: bmw seria 1 si honda civic.

in bunul spirit german clasamentul este: golf, a3, leon, ford, octavia si abia pe 7 alfa
in fata alfei se situeaza inclusiv opel care cu motorul de 1.4 turbo are plaja de turatii de motor diesel: puterea maxima la 4200rpm :blink: pai plm, si dieselul meu obosit stie putere maxima la 4000 si trage pana la 4500.

cred ca si eu eram in stare sa scriu mai bine si nu sunt jurnalist. baiatul e genul de persoana careia daca ii dai o giulietta se duce cu ea la toti prietenii sa se laude si se va simti cel mai mandru om dupa planeta cand o conduce... insa din pacate nu isi permite una, asa ca spune ca este proasta si urata...

ca tot venii vb de reportaje/articole mai non profi... un filmulet dragut ce l-am gasit pe youtube... soferul are ranjetul acela ... care cred ca fiecare dintre noi l-am avut cand am condus o alfa pentru prima oara sau dupa mult timp.

Eu ador genul asta de reportaje, "mai non-profi", fiindca, poate, nici eu nu sunt profi in adevaratul sens al cuvantului. Dar scot la iveala sentimentul original al unui om care se urca in masina aia doar sa vada cum e si cum se conduce. Si filmuletul prezentat este foarte favorabil "sentimentului Alfa". :D

La cateva luni dupa ce a fost anuntata, Giulietta TCT (Twin Clutch Transmission ) este in sfarsit disponibila, in doua variante de motorizare :
- 1.4 TBi - 170 CP, 218 km/h viteza maxima, aceleratie 0-100 km/h in 7.7 secunde
- 2.0 JTDM - 170 CP, 218 km/h viteza maxima, acceleratie 0-100 km/h in 7.9 secunde.

Noile variante cu dublu ambreiaj sunt mai economice fata de variantele normale, 1.4 TBi va putea parcurge astfel 19.2 km cu fiecare litru de benzina consumat (fata de 17.2) , iar pentru diesel un litru de combustibil va fi suficient pentru a parcurge 22 de km (fata de 21.3).
Preturile (in Italia ) pleca de la 24.550 euro pentru 1.4 TB MultiAir Progression si ajung pana la 30.750 euro pentru 2.0 JTDM-2 Exclusive.

In Romania aceasta cutie se comercializeaza doar de varianta distinctive a celor doua motorizari mentionate, 23400 euro tva inclus 1.4 M-Air 170cp si 25700 euro tva inclus 2.0 Jtdm de 170.

E bine si mai tarziu...Cutiile cu dublu ambreiaj sunt chestii foarte misto. Personal nu mi-as mai lua vreo masina fara asa ceva. Cu tot farmecul manualei...ii spun papa din mers...Consumul constat pe proprie piele ca este mai mic, despre viteza de schimbare nu mai are rost sa vorbim, iar confortul face toti banii. Practic nu ii vad dezavantaje.
