With rising fuel costs, small city cars are quickly becoming more popular in both developing and developed markets. While Toyota and VW are about to unveil new minicar concepts at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, Fiat is now considering building its own rival version.

The potential Fiat minicar would be based on the same platform as the Panda and 500 but would only be 3200mm long while still being able to seat four, according to Automotive News. If given the green light, the car is expected to be at least two years away and could possibly replace the Seicento city car.

VW plans to build various versions of the minicar in three different regions of the world within a few years. The new model is tipped to be RWD and will be built on a new rear-engined platform dubbed ‘New Small Family.’ Toyota, meanwhile, will go with a front-engined, FWD platform and a 3+1 seating configuration (3 full size seats and 1 child sized seat).

In timp ce poza 1 si 3 par sa ilustreze aceiasi masina, poza 2 pare un chop facut dupa seat!

Seat? Doamne fereste si apara! Sper sa nu fie asa. Oricum e draguta. Sper sa fie in traditia Fiat, mica pe afara, incapatoare la interior.[/quote]

ma indoiesc sa fie asa.. uite-te cu atentie la poze si o sa vezi ca poza 1 si 3 nu au nici o legatura cu poza 2, nici ca forma, nici ca si concept (usa glisanta vs usa clasica).. uite-te apoi cu atentie la poza 2 si o sa gasesti liniile lui leon/toledo/altea (ca toate sunt la fel) la caroserie/stopuri si o sa intelegi ce-am vrut sa spun

E doar un proiect deocamdata,dar asta stie Fiat sa faca cel mai bine de cand e el Fiat : masini mici,economice de oras.
Roll on New Topolino!

Primul Topolino a fost produs intre 1937 si 1955 in mai mult de 500.000 de exemplare.Unul indentic cu cel din poza de mai jos este expus in permanenta la Auto Brescia.

frumoase foc chop-urile, din pacate poza spion nu are nici o legatura cu ele.. pare-se a fi fata de 500 aplicata pe un panda scurt..
