Touring Superleggera va prezenta la Salonul Auto de la Geneva un concept al unui coupe cu 2 locuri sub sigla Alfa Romeo cu numele “Disco Volante 2012”, cu intentia de a-l produce intr-o serie limitata, numarul de exemplare propus pentru productie nefiind inca cunoscut.
Bazata pe platforma Alfei Romeo 8C Competizione, “Disco Volante 2012” este inspirata evident din conceptul C52 “Disco Volante” din 1952, care si-a capatat numele datorita unei aerodinamici de exceptie (CX = 0.25) dar si datorita interesului publicului pentru aventura spatiala din acea epoca.
Noul concept transpune intr-o maniera moderna aceleasi linii, si aceeasi idee de masina "extraterestra". Sa speram intr-o materializare cat mai rapida si cat mai de succes a unei noi super masini Alfa Romeo.

Daca Alfa nu mai scoate modele noi, e bine ca macar cei mai prestigiosi carosieri inca isi mai bat capul ! Sper sa se materialize cat mai curand intr-o masina reala, chiar daca numai intr-o serie super limitata cum e Stradale TZ3.
Deja sunt prea multe posibile predendente daca as castiga la Loto. :)

Incerc sa las fanboismul la o parte, dar imi place, chiar mult !
As fi preferat insa si o interpretare proprie a stilului teledial, in locul preluarii jantelor direct de pe 8C. :scratch:

Uitandu-ma la poza cu spatele masinii, pentru o clipa mi s-a parut ca Ferrari F12 si T. Superleggera ar fi ''rude'' :D

Masina desenata de tanarul designer belgian Louis de Fabribeckers va fi construita in 10 exemplare, dintre care unul si-a gasit deja cumparator.

Peste 2 saptamani, la Geneva , va fi lansata si versiunea de strada, bazata, ca si conceptul, pe platforma 8C Competizione.

Masina arata foarte bine. Sunt cateva solutii de deisgn acolo ce nu imi par foarte scumpe, si care cred ca ar fi mers bine si pe 4C. Ca de exemplu farurile.

Singura vina care i-o gasesc este ca pentru fiecare exemplar care va vedea lumina zilei va fi nevoie de sacrificiul unei 8C.
Sunt fascinat de craftmanship-ul care sta la baza noului Disco Volante. In zilele noastre, cu adevarat ceva rar si pe cale de disparitie...

Pentru cei care considera un sacrilegiu sacrificarea unor 8C-uri...oare ce parere au fanii inraiti ai Viperului de faptul ca unele exemplare au fost transformate in TZ3 Stradale ?
